❓ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Why won't certain PDF files open?

• Encrypted Files: PDF2IMG currently does not support password-protected or encrypted PDF documents. Please remove password protection from the document before importing.
• Corrupted Files: If the document is unencrypted but still fails to load, please verify file integrity or re-import it via the Files app.

2. Where are exported images saved? Why did saving fail?

• Storage Location: Tapping "Save to Photos" directly saves your images into the iOS system Photos app.
• Photo Library Permission: If saving fails, go to iOS Settings -> PDF2IMG -> Photos and ensure permission is set to "Add Photos Only" or "Full Access".
• Canvas Dimension Limits: When stitching many pages together at 300 DPI, the overall image height may exceed iOS Photo Library dimension limits. Try lowering the DPI to 144/108 or export as "Multiple Images".

3. Is PDF2IMG free? Are there any subscriptions or in-app purchases?

• 100% Free: PDF2IMG is completely free to use. It contains no in-app purchases, recurring subscriptions, or hidden paywalls.
